12-month limited warranty
Lo-Key warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the delivery date, when installed and used in accordance with the product instructions.
What is covered
Coverage includes a verified failure of the motion-sleep or automatic-wake function, internal electrical failure, or a manufacturing defect that prevents normal use in a compatible key fob.
What is not covered
- Normal battery depletion or reduced runtime caused by the key fob’s current demand, usage pattern, temperature, or storage conditions.
- Use in an incompatible battery compartment or with contacts that damage or deform the product.
- Water exposure, crushing, puncture, overheating, reverse installation, modification, abuse, or accidental damage.
- Loss, theft, vehicle damage, or a theft event. Lo-Key is one security layer and does not guarantee that a vehicle cannot be stolen.
- Products purchased from an unauthorized seller or without reasonable proof of purchase.
How to make a claim
Use the contact form with the order number, vehicle, key-fob battery marking, and a description of the issue. We may ask for reasonable diagnostic steps before authorizing a return.
Remedy
For a valid claim, Lo-Key may repair the product, replace it with an equivalent product, or refund the purchase price. The chosen remedy will depend on product availability and the nature of the defect. This warranty is in addition to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
